​Each day, as a District Judge presiding over civil and family cases, Judge Lambeth makes decisions that affect 
people, businesses, families, and children.  She has the experience, compassion, and expertise we need in a court with such a significant impact on our community. 

About Betsy F. Lambeth

Judge Betsy Figer Lambeth is a fifth-generation Texan.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin and her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.   More...

With over 10 years of service on the bench, Judge Lambeth exemplifies the qualities that comprise judicial temperament:  common sense, patience, open-mindedness, courtesy, alertness, tact, firmness, understanding, compassion, wisdom and humility. She has a keen ability to deal with counsel, jurors, witnesses and parties calmly and courteously, and with the willingness to hear and consider the views of all sides.

About the 425th District Court

The 425th District Court is one of six general jurisdiction district courts in Williamson County, and currently presides over civil and family cases.  Experience and leadership are important to the continued success of the courts and Williamson County.  Judge Lambeth is the longest serving judge on the District Court bench in Williamson County and has been honored by her peers to serve as Local Administrative District Judge.  Under Judge Lambeth's leadership, during the Covid crisis the Courts remained open, closing not one single day, and justice never stopped in Williamson County.  More...
