About Adoptions
When people come to court, it is often because there is a dispute that needs to be resolved by the justice system. Whether being sued or working through a divorce, these are not usually happy days in a person's life. Adoptions are different!
Judge Lambeth has presided over a wide variety of cases in her 10+ years on the bench. It is her greatest joy to preside over cases where families are made. Some of these are adoptions in remarriages where families blend and some are adoptions of children who were in the foster care system. These are the happiest of days in the 425th. |

The court proceeding and the time spent afterwards, where the children were able to put their hand and footprints on the adoption board and picking out a toy, made the day even more memorable. When [the kids] are older, we look forward to telling them about their special day." |
